Add a Private Agra Day to Your India Trip

If your India trip is already booked, or you are planning it yourself, you can add the Taj Mahal as one private day without changing the rest. Which option fits depends on where you will be: in Delhi, already in Agra, or travelling the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur).

What to check before you add a day
- Friday: the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday, so avoid that day (opening hours).
- Tickets: Taj Mahal entry for a foreign adult is ₹1,300 (complex plus mausoleum); see the ticket price guide. Check what each tour includes.
- Season: see the best time to visit.
- Timing: one day is enough for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort; see Is one day enough? and car or train.
