Delhi to Agra in a Day: Car or Train?

Both work. By car, the trip is about 230 km and roughly three hours each way on the Yamuna Expressway; by the Gatimaan Express it is 1 hour 40 minutes each way, but on a fixed timetable and not on Fridays. The car gives you control over the day; the train gives you a calmer, shorter ride. Either way, the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, so pick another weekday.

Going by car

Central Delhi to Agra is about 230 km, 165 km of it on the Yamuna Expressway (speed limit 100 km/h for cars). Going by train

The Gatimaan Express leaves Hazrat Nizamuddin, not New Delhi station, and arrives at Agra Cantt. It does not run on Fridays.
