Which Taj Mahal tour is right for you?

Our full-day tours start from your Delhi hotel or the airport and cover the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with a private guide. The difference is how you travel and when you start:

• By car: a private air-conditioned vehicle door to door, about 230 km each way on the Yamuna Expressway. The most flexible option, and the best value for a group because the vehicle cost is shared.
• By Gatimaan Express train: India's first semi-high-speed train takes 1 hour 40 minutes each way, so more of your day is spent at the monuments. It doesn't run on Fridays, and train seats are priced per person.
• Sunrise tour: the Taj Mahal opens 30 minutes before sunrise, and the first hour is the quietest. The start is in the small hours of the night.
• Luxury car tour: the same day in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes-Benz or BMW sedan, with a quieter cabin and more comfortable seating.
• Art Gallery Experience: a 30-minute visit near the Taj Mahal to see how stone is carved by hand.

Good to know before you book

• The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday, so these tours don't run on Fridays.
• Same-day booking is open until 9 PM IST the night before your travel date.
