Day 1 · Pickup Hotel or airport pickup in Delhi, Noida or Gurugram

Meet your driver in a private air-conditioned car for the drive to Agra on the Yamuna Expressway. Bottled water, parking, fuel and tolls are included.
Day 1 · Drive Delhi to Agra

The drive takes roughly three to four hours depending on traffic and your pickup point. You meet your private English-speaking guide in Agra.
Day 1 · Taj Mahal Guided visit to the Taj Mahal

Your guide covers the story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal, the marble inlay and the gardens. The monument closes 30 minutes before sunset and is closed on Fridays.
Day 1 · Agra Fort Guided visit to Agra Fort

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the main residence of the Mughal emperors, in red sandstone with views across to the Taj Mahal. Lunch is a break of your choice and is not included.
Day 1 · Night Hotel check-in in Agra

Transfer to your hotel in Agra for the night.
Day 2 · Mathura Shri Krishna Janmasthan, Mathura

After breakfast and checkout, drive to Mathura, roughly 55 to 60 kilometres from Agra, to visit the temple complex traditionally revered as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Expect a security check at the entrance.
Day 2 · Vrindavan Banke Bihari Temple, ISKCON and Prem Mandir

Continue to Vrindavan to visit the Banke Bihari Temple, the ISKCON Krishna Balaram Mandir and the marble Prem Mandir. Temple timings change with the season and festivals, so we plan the order of visits around the current schedules.
Day 2 · Return Drive back to Delhi and drop-off

The drive takes about three hours depending on traffic. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport in Delhi, Noida or Gurugram. Lunch and dinner are not included.

About this tour

Two days, two sides of Uttar Pradesh: the Mughal monuments of Agra, then the Krishna temples of Mathura and Vrindavan, with a private car from Delhi and a night in an Agra hotel. Day one is the drive to Agra, the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with a private guide. Day two heads to Mathura, traditionally revered as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, then Vrindavan for the Banke Bihari Temple, the ISKCON Krishna Balaram Mandir and Prem Mandir, before the drive back to Delhi. ## Ticket costs, for context Monument tickets are not included. Foreign visitors pay ₹1,100 for the Taj Mahal (plus ₹200 for the main mausoleum) and ₹650 for Agra Fort. Indian nationals pay ₹50 (plus ₹200) and ₹50. Children under 15 are free. The Archaeological Survey of India sets these fees and they can change. The temples do not charge entry, though some have special darshan or donation options. ## Visiting the temples Temple hours change with the season and festivals, and many temples close for a few hours in the afternoon, so we plan the order around current schedules. Banke Bihari Temple is very crowded at weekends and on festival days. Dress modestly, expect to remove your footwear, and expect phones, bags and cameras to be restricted in some temples; keep valuables in the car. ## Who this tour suits Travellers who want heritage and spirituality in one trip: families, couples, pilgrims and international visitors curious about the Braj region.
