Our promise

Our no-commission pledge

IWIS Global takes no commission from any craft workshop, marble-inlay gallery, or souvenir stop on any tour. If a tour's itinerary includes an optional stop like this, it's there because some travelers enjoy it, not because we earn from it. You can skip it and nothing changes about your tour or your guide.

Why we're saying this plainly

Scams aimed at tourists are a real problem around the Taj Mahal — in a 15-day crackdown that ended on 11 September 2026, Agra police arrested 50 people for scamming visitors, some posing as tour guides (more on that, and who to call). Commission-driven detours are one version of it: a guide routes the day through a shop that pays them a cut, and the "quick stop" eats into the time you actually came for. Our guide to avoiding Taj Mahal scams covers the other common ones.

We're not claiming every operator does this. We're saying we don't, and we'd rather state it outright than let you wonder.
