The blog is where we write about planning a Taj Mahal trip from Delhi in more detail than a tour page can. Posts fall into three groups:
We write for visitors who are choosing between a day trip and an overnight stay, working out how to get from Delhi to Agra, or wondering what the Taj Mahal is like in a particular month. Each post is written by IWIS Global from our experience of running these tours, and where we give a number, such as a drive time or a ticket price, we say where it comes from.
Visiting rules, ticket prices and train timings change, so we check them against official sources such as the Archaeological Survey of India, the official Taj Mahal website and Indian Railways timetables before we publish, and we say in the post where a detail could go out of date. The busiest season for visitors runs from October to February, when the weather is cooler, so many of our seasonal posts cover planning for those months.
Our travel guides give sourced answers on tickets, timing and what to bring. When you are ready to book, see our private Delhi to Agra Taj Mahal tours, or ask us a question on WhatsApp.
