Our no-commission pledge

IWIS Global takes no commission from any craft workshop, marble-inlay gallery, or souvenir stop on any tour. If a tour's itinerary includes an optional stop like this, it's there because some travelers enjoy it, not because we earn from it. You can skip it and nothing changes about your tour or your guide.

Why we're saying this plainly

Commission-driven detours are a known problem with unlicensed or informal operators in Agra: a guide routes the day through a shop that pays them a cut, and the "quick stop" eats into the time you actually came for. It's also common to hear about guides asking for tips after a trip has already been paid for in full, on top of what's already been agreed.

We're not claiming every operator does this. We're saying we don't, and we'd rather state it outright than let you wonder.

What this means on your tour

• Any craft or workshop stop on your itinerary is clearly marked optional
• Skipping it doesn't shorten your tour or change your price
• Your guide has no financial reason to steer you toward one shop over another
• Tipping is always your choice, never expected on top of what you've already paid
